To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Truegen Frost Gate Guardian Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Michigan Guild: Clan Dethryche [dth]	I love when everyone says "quit HA and do real pvp" like all of a sudden because they have some grief about it, it doesn't deserve to exist If somebody comes to you with a HA concern, either offer some real advice (i.e. not "zomg HA is brokenQQ go do realz PvPs"), or stop getting your post count up My advice to you is to go through guild recruitment threads harder, because I know for a fact guilds out there exist that take on newcomers and those willing to learn and practice to become real HA'ers (sorry smite/teaseway, you don't count) I'll message you the name of a buddy of mine that has a guild open to recruits willing to learn and step their game up

Something very important: DON'T SHOW THAT YOU ARE NEW TO HA! Pretend you know everything , that you are the best thing to come to GW. If you admit you are new you'll most likely get kicked.
Using this method you will learn the least amount , but you should get enough fame to form better groups.
